Facts About Xanthelasma

Got question about Xanthelasm and want answers ?

Scroll through the FAQs to get answers to your questions about Xanthelasma, what it is, what causes it, how to treat it and what works and what does not.

With the amount of research in finding the most effective solution to removing xanthelasma, effective with all skin tones, by our dermatological team, its easy to see why Xanthel ® is at the professional solution to helping remove xanthelasma and stop it from coming back.

Natural home remedies such as garlic and the like are not effective in removing the xanthelasma.  But one benefit of natural supplements such as garlic and castor oil tablets, is that they will slow down the expansion of the plaques.  For simple and effective removal of xanthelasma at home, just use Xanthel ® developed especially to be used at home for helping with fast xanthelasma removal.

You can’t get rid of xanthelasma using natural products as they have no capacity to penetrate the dermal layers to have any effect on the xanthelasma plaques.  Also with the depth of the xanthelasma, you need a professionally developed product to be able to achieve the depth to remove the plaques, but with the ability to not interfere with healthy skin cells and that is safe to use in that given area.

No, xanthelasma will not go away on its own.  The cholesterol is forced and thus resides in the skin cell and so has no means to dissipate via reabsorption into the body.  As your white blood cells see the lipid proteins as being a natural part of your body’s mechanics, they will no scavenge the cholesterol cells and deplete them back into the body.

No, they will not go away on their own.  As it was your body itself that produced the lipid proteins then your white blood cells will not clean then from the cells.  Once formed they will either carry on growing slowly at first in size, especially is the health condition that is actually creating the xanthelasma is not under control and when under control (the usual common culprit is high cholesterol), then the xanthelasma will solidify over time, changing from its foamy natural state to more dense hard state.

Depending on the size of the xanthelasma and at what stage you have caught them.  If they are not interfering with the vision of the individual then Xanthel ® is the best approach to easily remove them, with just one treatment.  If they have got to a stage where they are severely impacting your eyesight, via extreme distortion of the eyelids, then surgical intervention may be an approach that is suggested by your doctor.

If you are after a treatment that works with just one application, that you can use at home, then a common suggestion is the use of Xanthel ®, xanthelasma cream.  It a lot more cost effective than other approaches which involve varying costs, such as surgical removal, which whilst effective is very expensive and involves a lot of downtime, which in today’s modern society is something we all want to avoid.

Whilst xanthelasma can be caused by a health issue and be a secondary issue, a lipid disorder or imbalance is the most common cause.  The two most regular conditions to create this lipid disorder, is either that the xanthelasma runs in the family, which can be easily identified, in regards of if older family members suffer from xanthelasma, then it’s a good chance you will also suffer with them.  The other common cause is high cholesterol, which you not only need to control with regards to the slowing down the spread of the xanthelasma, but also to offset any health issues that the high cholesterol may be causing.

Until we developed Xanthel ®, there was no way to effectively remove xanthelasma at home.  The only options you had were expensive surgical intervention.  Yes, there are other old school treatments around such as lasers and cryotherapy for xanthelasma, but these are known to cause more xanthelasma as the skin heals due to the destruction causes to the cell walls of both the cholesterol engorged cells and also the health cells, which all get hybridized as the skin continues to heal, this hybridization being what causes the rapid regrowth of the xanthelasma.

All of these old suggested treatment issues are now no longer a problem with the professional formulation of Xanthel ®. With Xanthel ®, you apply it just the once, in the comfort of your own home, let your skin slowly shrink away the xanthelasma and they don’t come back due to the xanthelasma ‘root’ also being treated and so cutting off the leakage point which feeds the area, creating the plaque.

Xanthoma is the generic classification of the skin condition.  This in turn is broken down into sub conditions, such as eruptive xanthoma and planar xanthoma.  Xanthelasma is the name given when the xanthomas have formed on the eyelids.

Yes, a dermatologist can remove xanthelasma, most of the time they will suggest surgical intervention but only if they are large and causing severe issues.  For the most part they will suggest leaving them be, as they are not affecting you from a medical point of view.  While the client may find them unappealing and want them removed for cosmetic reasons, the dermatologist will view them from a medical perspective and leave them alone.

A dermatologist will review the xanthelasma if they have got to the point where they are affecting your vision via plaque solidification causing the eyelids to be malformed.  If you see xanthelasma on your eyelids, then the best thing to do is check with a doctor and get blood test done first. The reason being is that xanthelasma may be showing up due to another more health related issue and that needs to be identified first.  Do be aware though for some people xanthelasma can show up for no reason, stress, pregnancy and the likes being a good example of when xanthelasma shows up for no reason.

Dissolving xanthelasma, if there was even a safe way to do it, is a very bad idea and we will now explain.  If you dissolved the xanthelasma, the mechanism used to dissolve the skin would break down and liquify all the skin cells walls, causing absolute ablation of the applied area.  Both cholesterol engorged cells and health cells are affected by the dissolving.  The area now has a liquefied state and it will start to recover and the skin cells walls will start to rebuild.

As they rebuild, they will form into hybridized cells, so the cholesterol cells will still be cholesterol cells, but now also the healthy cells will have cholesterol in them as well and as they heal, the healthy cell encloses in the cholesterol.  You now have even more cholesterol engorged cells which will mean the plaque is coming back bigger and stronger.  This is not a good idea. To easily remove xanthelasma, the two best options are Xanthel ® or surgery.

No you can not squeeze out xanthelasma.  The reason being is what you see is the tip of the iceberg even though it looks like it is just under the skin.  The xanthelasma plaque is being fed from inside your dermis and is deep into the blood stream which has supplied the lipid proteins into the cells in the eyelid area.  You would have to peck away at a very sensitive area to only scratch the surface.

Also, the damage you would cause in this approach would mean the skin would form scar tissue to protect the area and this in turn would solidify the top coating of the plaque.  This very commonly leads to xanthoma planar, which is where as the plaques can not get to the high dermis layers due to not being able to malform the top layers of skin due to the hard aspect of the scar tissue, it will them go sideways in the dermis, making it extremely hard to remove from then on.

The most common presentation of xanthelasma is white to yellow lumps on the eyelid areas.  They usually start to form on the inside of your eyelids, near your nose.  A very high percentage of people have them appear on both sides of their eyelids and this is called bilateral xanthelasma.  Overtime they may take on a slightly deeper yellow and a more engorged appearance, swelling and spreading overtime.

There are no natural ways to treat xanthelasma.  one of the simplest facts is that the skin is a very resilient organ and any natural remedies do not have the capabilities to affect the cholesterol cells due to the depth that they are in the dermis.  All is not lost though as natural supplements and some homeopathic products taken in tablet form can actually reduce your cholesterol.

High cholesterol is one of the most common factors in why people suffer from xanthelasma, so by reducing the cholesterol in the body, you can stop the xanthelasma plaques from growing out of proportion.
While the natural aspect will either slow down the growth of the xanthelasma or stop it from growing any more, no natural remedies or products will remove the xanthelasma so it will not come back.  That is why we created Xanthel ®, from the comfort of your own home, apply it once and your xanthelasma will fade away and not come back again.

The two most effective ways are with Xanthel ® xanthelasma cream or with surgical intervention.  Surgery is a lot more expensive and due to the downtime and also the scars left from the surgery, surgery is a technique that is to be considered if the plaques are out of control and affecting the vision of the individual via distortion of the eyelid.

No Garlic can not cure garlic, but it can be of great help in controlling your xanthelasma plaques from expanding.  Natural garlic, when taken as a supplement, can over time be of great help in bringing your cholesterol levels down.  Seen as high cholesterol levels is one the usual suspects for xanthelasma proliferation on the eyelids, this control will slow down the spread of the plaques.  For some lucky people it will over time stop the plaques from growing anymore.
The garlic will not remove the xanthelasma, only slow or stop growth of the plaques.  If cholesterol levels are the reason for the plaques showing up, then after this is under control, look at either surgery or Xanthel ®, xanthelasma cream to effectively help remove the xanthelasma and stop it coming back.

While this technique has been suggested at time, Tca for xanthelasma removal is not recommended and will cause even more xanthelasma to return to the area.  The reason being is simple, the TCA would liquidize all the skin cell walls (uncontrollable ablation), both the xanthelasma skin cells and the healthy cells.  The treated area is now in liquidized form.  As healing takes place the skin cell walls will be repaired and trapped in the healthy cell walls is now cholesterol cells from the destructive nature of the treatment.  The skin reacts to the damage caused by the industrial acid and forms scar tissue to protect the area.

As the xanthelasma cells can no longer push up in the dermis, they will now grow sideways through the dermis and start springing up in a multitude of other areas.  You will be chasing the xanthelasma around your eyelids, each time the plagues become more stubborn to remove. Surgery or the use of Xanthel ® are now deemed as the best approach at effectively treating xanthelasma plaques, with just one treatment needed and the plaques not returning.

Xanthelasma will only be treated on the NHS in very rare occasions.  They are seen as cosmetic blights on the skin and as the xanthelasma itself causes no ongoing health conditions or effects, then unless the plaques are to such a degree where they are interfering with the client’s eyesight, thus causing degradation of quality of life, then only on this rare occasion would the NHS be prepared to treat xanthelasma. Privately paid surgery or Xanthel ® are the most recommended routes to take when it comes to removing xanthelasma on a private basis.

No Xanthelasma do not disappear, as your body has created the plaques via a lipid protein disorder, then your white blood cells will not attack and remove the cholesterol engorged cells as they see the plaques as being natural and created by the body itself.  Even with aggravation of the skin in the area, the body would not induce a reaction to remove the plaques, only a reaction of creating scar tissue to protect the area from further aggravation.  The two most effective ways to remove xanthelasma are surgical intervention or Xanthel ®, xanthelasma treatment cream.

No, xanthelasma will not go away on it own, what the plaques will do over time is either start to expand or will compress and take on a more solid nature, rather than the initial stage foamy stage of the plaque.

While reduction of xanthelasma naturally is not possible, there is some good points about using natural products with regards to xanthelasma.  For a large majority of people, the xanthelasma is showing up due to high cholesterol levels.  Natural supplements, such as garlic and castor oil have great abilities in, overtime, lowering your cholesterol levels.

This will in turn cause the xanthelasma to stop being fed and they will help in either slowing down the spread of the xanthelasma or for some lucky clients it will stop the xanthelasma from growing at all.  When it comes to removing the xanthelasma, then Xanthel ® or surgery are the recommended modern approaches to removing the xanthelasma and stopping it from returning.

Xanthelasma removal is not covered by insurance as they are seen as benign tumours. What this means is that they cause no issues to the persons wellbeing or health and cause no further issues even when they grow bigger. Only if they get to the point of distorting the eyelids will insurance possibly consider paying for any treatment to either reduce or remove them. Most people opt for the cost effective Xanthel ® removal cream now as its cost effective and is a lot more affordable than even the excess charges that are needed to try and claim on any insurance.

Xanthelasma surgery is not seen as painful, although there may be some discomfort through the proceedings.  The surgery is not painful due to the use of injectable anaesthetics to control any pain while the procedure is being performed.  Lidocaine or lidocaine with adrenaline is the normal chosen anaesthetics used to reduce pain while xanthelasma surgery is performed.

Garlic does not remove xanthelasma, but in supplement form it can help to reduce cholesterol levels.  The reduction of cholesterol levels can haver a great effect on your xanthelasma plaques by slowing down their growth or by stopping the plaque from growing.

Rubbing garlic cloves on your xanthelasma plaques will do nothing more than greatly aggravate the skin, causing red inflammation.  Ongoing pursuit of this will result in the skin creating scar tissue to protect the area where you keep rubbing the garlic.  If you’re after a way to remove xanthelasma that is effective and works, then either Xanthel ® or surgery are two options to look into.

Before we created our Xanthelasma cream, there was not a way to remove xanthelasma yourself.  There is now and it is called Xanthel ®, xanthelasma treatment cream.  Developed by our dermatologists, it works with not only your skin tone but also the age of the plaques for a professional one application removal cream.  Its that effective it also stops the plaques returning.

A dermatologist can treat xanthelasma, but you will have to pay privately in most cases. The reason being is that xanthelasma is not recognized as a health impacting condition, so it is not covered by insurance or the NHS in the UK. They will opt for surgical intervention to remove the xanthelasma. Surgery or Xanthel ® are you best options when it comes to removing xanthelasma.

If you have to pay private then the costs for dermatological intervention will far exceed the affordable costs of xanthelasma removal cream.

Garlic does work on xanthelasma, but only at stopping it from growing anymore. The most common factor with the appearance of xanthelasma is high cholesterol. Garlic when used over time has a great effect on cholesterol levels, bringing them down slowly. This reduction in your cholesterol levels will in turn slow the xanthelasma from spreading, or for some people stop the xanthelasma expansion in its tracks.

If you’re after a technique to remove xanthelasma and have them, not come back, there are two successful option, surgery and Xanthel ®. Both effectively remove the xanthelasma plaques and stop it from coming back.

Xanthelasma can be removed permanently but it is done in stages.  The first thing is to identify what is the cause of the xanthelasma in the first place.  Once that is under control, both surgery and Xanthel ®, xanthelasma cream have a great track record in permanently removing xanthelasma.

Yes, a plastic surgeon can remove xanthelasma.  They will bring you in to their clinic to perform the operation.  Inject in a local anaesthesia to dull any possible pain and then use a scalpel to cut the xanthelasma out.

They will use a diamond cut for the most part to make closure of the wound more effective, as the eyelid area is known to be a hard area to close and not leave scars due to the area being in a perpetual state of movement.  They will use either stitches or medical superglue to close the wound.  Before looking into plastic surgery and the expensive costs involved, look into Xanthel ® xanthelasma treatment cream, it is a lot more affordable with the nearly exactly the same success rates as surgery.

Using a laser to remove xanthelasma is a bad idea.  Without even going into the known factors such as the very high re-emergence rate of the xanthelasma in a very short time, the use of any laser near the eyes is a very dangerous situation and has an inherent chance of impacting your vision.

Tca is an industrial acid and disintegrates the skin cell walls on contact.  Because of this even if manage to burn off the top layers to get to the xanthelasma, as it liquidizes all the cells it touches, as the area heals, the healthy cells also become contaminated with the cholesterol and this is why it’s a proven fact that TCA will always keep producing even worse scabs and even bigger xanthelasma after each time you put it on the skin.

It even has a medical name its that common a reoccurrence, it is called the Kober effect.  Simpler ways to remove xanthelasma on your eyelids is Xanthel ® or surgical intervention.  Both have a great success rate and both stop the xanthelasma from returning.

Xanthoma appears on a lot of areas on the body and can even be found internally.  Xanthelasma on the other hand is the name given when the xanthomas appear on the eyelid areas.

Castor oil for xanthelasma is effective at reducing the cholesterol levels in the body. High cholesterol levels are a common reason for xanthelasma plaques and other xanthomas. The ingestion of castor oil supplement tablets will over time help to reduce the cholesterol levels in the body. Especially when added towards a more healthier life style. The xanthelasma though will still be there, so look into Xanthel ® removal cream or surgery to get effective removal of your xanthelasma and also stop it from coming back once and for all.

Xanthelasma Palpebrarum is caused by a lipid protein disorder.  The lipid protein disorder can be DNA related and it runs in your families’ genes or it could be high cholesterol.  There have also been trials to see if there is a definitive association of more serious health issues causing the xanthelasma as a a secondary condition, such as heart disease or diabetes.

For a treatment for xanthelasma to be successful it not only needs to remove the plaques and leave the health skin alone, but also stop the plaque from returning.  The two successful ways are using Xanthel ® or surgery.  The surgical option is a lot more expensive and should only really be considered if the xanthelasma removal will involve reconstructive surgery of the eyelid itself after the xanthelasma has been removed.

There is no need to suffer from xanthelasma for the rest of your life.  If the causes of the xanthelasma have been identified and ins under control, then the xanthelasma will not grow in size, but will non the less still be in place.  If it does not concern you from the cosmetic aspect, then leave it alone, it won’t harm you as it is a benign tumour.

If you want the xanthelasma to be removed for cosmetic reasons, then two successful options are Xanthel ® and surgery.  Both have great track records in not only getting the xanthelasma removed, but also at keeping the xanthelasma from returning.

If you’re wondering what is xanthelasma Palpebrarum, it is a skin condition which is benign in nature.  That is, it is not cancerous and has no implication on its own towards your health.  The ‘plaques’ are formed from cholesterol engorged cells and they densely pack together to create the xanthelasma that you see on the eyelid.  The condensing of the skin cells is what causes the plaque to appear raised over time.  While they may look like they are on the surface of the skin, they do go far into the dermis, where the area is fed from a weak point in the depths of the dermis from the blood stream.

If you’re looking for a way to conceal or cover up your xanthelasma, then the use of latex base foundation is one of the best initial solutions.  The slight raising of the xanthelasma is hidden with the latex foundation as it smooths out the edges of the plaque.  If you are lucky enough to get a latex foundation which is your exact skin tone, then this on its own will be fine.  If not, use the latex foundation, then utilize standard makeups to cover the xanthelasma up.

For xanthelasma to be treated and be removed for good, then there are two successful treatments available.  Xanthel ® xanthelasma treatment cream or surgery.  Both have a great proven track record of removing the xanthelasma and also keeping it at bay for good.  Surgery is a more expensive option of the two, but is non the less successful and really should solely be considered if there is an underlying need for eyelid reconstruction after the plaque has been removed due to the size of it.

There is no medicine that your doctor can prescribe that will remove your xanthelasma. When they are first discovered consul your doctor for blood test to see what the cause of the xanthelasma is. A common reason is high cholesterol and this will need medicines to control. The use of statins is a common way to control high cholesterol. This will in turn slow down and hopefully stop the spread of the xanthelasma plaques. The main point to note is that no medicine will remove your xanthelasma. Both surgery and Xanthel ® are the modern approach to help in removing xanthelasma and keeping it at bay.

Xanthelasma will not go away on their own.  Your body created the plaques and they are buried deep within your dermis.  Your white blood cells are the normal scavengers of the body and these will not remove the plaques due to the fact that your own body produced them and thus your cells are not creating signals of foreign objects within the cells, which would make the white blood cells come and remove the xanthelasma plaques.

Left over time the xanthelasma will harden and taken on a stiffer appearance.  If you want them to go away, you will need professional intervention to remove them and stop them from returning.  Surgery or Xanthel ® xanthelasma treatment cream are the best proven techniques to remove xanthelasma.

The most proven ways to treat xanthelasma is either with surgical intervention or using Xanthel ® xanthelasma cream. They have a long history of easy removal of xanthelasma. The surgical option is a lot more expensive with the cream being a lot more affordable, but some people op for the surgical aspect when the plaques have gotten out of control and are causing sever issues with not only the eyelid, but also the person’s vision. Both will stop the xanthelasma from coming back.

Xanthelasma of eyelid is a form of xanthomas that has appeared on your eyelid or both of them.  When it appears on both it is called bilateral xanthelasma.  They are foamy yellow skin cells engorged with cholesterol, which is why they have a yellow appearance.

The best concealer for xanthelasma is latex foundation, hopefully with the foundation skin tone matching your own.  The latex thickness is utilized to smooth out the irregular edges of the xanthelasma and also the raised aspect of the skin condition.  Latex foundation can easily be bought from online stores and is cheap to buy with you receiving a large amount for the amount of coverage of xanthelasma your after.

Any of the homeopathic remedies that are aimed at the reduction or control of your cholesterol levels will help in your battler against xanthelasma. None of them will remove the plaque itself, but they will, given time, help to slow down the spread of the xanthelasma and also for some stop the xanthelasma from expanding at all.  Look for cholesterol control as one of the benefits of the given homeopathic remedy and the slowing of the xanthelasma can be a chevied fairly quickly.

Xanthelasma are best removed one of two ways.  Xanthel ® removal cream or via surgery.  With the removal cream, you just apply it the one time and leave your skin to heal. The xanthelasma plaques will slowly shrivel away and then your skin will return to normal. depending on the age of the plaque there maybe a short while where the skin is whiter that the surrounding tissue.  This is due to the plaque stopping the area underneath it from receiving the sun, so will need time for the melanin to readjust and settle down back into your own skin tone.  This though is only in the rare case when the xanthelasma plaques are very thick and have solidified over time.

Xanthelasma is not dangerous, it is classified as a benign tumour.  The dangers with xanthelasma is when xanthelasma is a secondary condition for a more serious underlying health problem.  This could be diabetes, out of control high cholesterol and heart disease.  That’s why it is always best to get checked over by a doctor to make sure the xanthelasma is not appearing to signify a more serious health concern.

Xanthelasma is more common in the Mediterranean regions.  Saying that as they are commonly caused by high cholesterol, xanthelasma is becoming more common with our dietary fast-food culture.  The far east which has thrived on a healthy natural diet are starting to show more cases of xanthelasma, as the unhealthy fast food dietary cultures become rifer within these regions.

Xanthelasma will always come back if not treated properly.  There are only two definitive protocols for treating and removing xanthelasma, that are specifically aimed at removing xanthelasma.  These being surgery or Xanthel ® which is specifically developed to target, treat and remove xanthelasma.  It also stops the xanthelasma from coming back.

Xanthelasma can be genetic and if so the medical classification for this is familial cholesterolemia.  This is when a lipid protein anomaly is in your genes and can be track through your family tree.  The best way to see if xanthelasma is in your Dna, is to look at family photos and if your parents or your grandparents have suffered with xanthelasma or other forms of xanthomas, then there is a very good chance you will also suffer with them.

Xanthelasma won’t go gone on its own, unfortunately. To get to the plaques, you have to dig deep into the dermis. Your body’s usual scavengers, white blood cells, will not remove xanthelasma plaques since your own body made them and so your cells are not producing signals of foreign organisms within the cells, which would cause the white blood cells to come and remove the xanthelasma plaques.

If left untreated, the xanthelasma will harden and become more brittle in consistency. In order to get rid of them and prevent them from reoccurring, you’ll need the help of a specialist. To get rid of xanthelasma, the only options that have been established treatments which are surgery or the removal cream Xanthel ®.

Xanthelasma will not go away on their own.  They are a natural skin condition and in so the body does not see them as a problem.  Where as some skin conditions will dissipated in their own time, xanthelasma on the other hand need professional treatment to ensure they are removed and that your skin returns back to its normal state.
This is only achieved if all the cholesterol engorged cells are removed and the health skin cells are left alone.  Either treatment with a professional product such as Xanthel ® which is specifically developed to help treat xanthelasma and stop it from returning or surgical intervention to remove them.  The surgical path involves downtime and a lot of expense though.

Xanthelasma can be removed but they need to be treated with a professional treatment to ensure they do not come back.  The xanthelasma is a lot more deep rooted within the dermis and is fed by a root system, which is the week point into the blood stream that is letting the cholesterol seep into the xanthelasma plaque and what keeps it growing.  Successful removal of all aspects of the skin condition can only be achieved with either Xanthel ®, xanthelasma cream or via a surgeon with a scalpel.

Xanthelasma can not be removed naturally, but certain natural supplements have been known to help in the fight against xanthelasma.  As an example, castor oil and garlic supplements can help overtime to reduce your cholesterol levels.  As high cholesterol is one of the common factors with regards to xanthelasma, the natural cholesterol lowering abilities of garlic and castor oil will help to stop the xanthelasma plaque from getting any bigger.
If you’re after complete eradication of the xanthelasma and want them removed to the point where your skin returns to normal, then Xanthel ® xanthelasma treatment cream and surgery both have long track records in removing xanthelasma and stopping them from returning.

If you are suffering from familial cholesterolemia, which is when the xanthelasma is created as part of your DNA, then no the xanthelasma can not be reversed. If your cholesterol is a secondary condition for another more serious health concern, which is causing the lipid protein disorder which is creating the xanthelasma, then with the help of a doctor to identify the reason for the lipid protein irregularities, your xanthelasma can at least be tamed and stopped from growing even more. If you feel the xanthelasma itself needs removing, then the dedicated xanthelasma treatment cream Xanthel ® or surgery are your best option to remove it and stop it from ever returning.

NO xanthelasma will not just disappear. The plaques is a lump of cholesterol, that if left alone will only get bigger over time. The larger they get the faster they expand, which is why catching them, at the early stages is the best approach. Treat them with either Surgery or Xanthel ® to make sure they do not come back after the initial treatment.

Xanthelasma can be removed permanently with two approaches.  One is Xanthel ® which is a dedicated cream specifically formulated to help treat and remove xanthelasma permanently and the other is surgery.  Both need just one application to be effective and remove the xanthelasma on a permanent basis.

Xanthelasma can be flat depending on where they are in the dermis.  If the weakest point in the skin layers is the layer that the xanthelasma is in, then they will form sideways and not create a lump.  If they continue to spread in this fashion, then then become called xanthoma planar, which if left to its own devices can spread to cover the whole of the eyelids and the cheeks.

The nature of xanthelasma is to keep getting bigger.  They will keep getting bigger if the cause of the xanthelasma is not identified.  If it is high cholesterol which is one of the common factors which creates xanthelasma, then unless the high cholesterol is under control, then the xanthelasma plaque will keep expanding.
Use natural supplements such as garlic or castor oil, or medicines such as statins to reduce your cholesterol and to permanently remove the xanthelasma itself, then use either Xanthel ® xanthelasma cream, or surgery to remove them and stop them coming back.

As xanthelasma will not disappear on their own and with them being deep in your dermis, they need professional intervention to remove them.  To remove xanthelasma, there are two techniques with proven track records at removing the xanthelasma and stopping it from regrowth, (one of the major issues with other treatments).
They are the dedicated xanthelasma removal cream called Xanthel ® or surgery to remove your xanthelasma.  Surgery involves a lot of money and downtime so would really only be considered if the xanthelasma have got to a point where surgical intervention is need to reconstruct the eyelid structure after the xanthelasma has been removed.

Xanthelasma forms when there is a lipid disorder which is creating the xanthoma cells. If the xanthoma cells congregate in the weaker areas of the skin, such as the eyelid, then they are called xanthelasma. They have a ‘root’ which is allowing the cholesterol seep into the eyelid dermis, creating the very recognizable xanthelasma plaques.

Home removal of xanthelasma is easily done with the dedicated xanthelasma home treatment, Xanthel ®.  It is specifically designed to work with various skin tones and also depths of xanthelasma plaques.  Only one treatment at home is need, then just wait and over the course of a week the xanthelasma will shrivel away and the skin will in time return back to the state before you had xanthelasma.  With a proven successful track record, the professional home treatment for xanthelasma is now affordable and easy to use, Xanthel ®

Xanthelasma Palpebrarum are white to yellow plaques that are regularly found in the eyelid area.  They are xanthoma cells and when they appear on the eyelids, they are called xanthelasma Palpebrarum.  Having a genetic makeup similar to other xanthomas found around the body, they can though commonly in their infancy be mis-diagnosed as syringoma.  The standard raised look of the xanthelasma being the visual difference from syringoma.

Xanthelasma can range in its appearance from white flat marks to yellow large bulgy lumps on the skin.  They can have irregular edges and range in size from 2 mm to some reaching 20mm or more.  When they get to this size it is common that a large number of xanthelasma plaques have clustered together to create the enhanced sizes.  They look in the initial stages like they have a foamy consistency and overtime they will take on a more hardened look.  Placement in the corner of the eyelids near the nose is another indictor that you are suffering from xanthelasma.

Xanthelasma are cholesterol engorged cells which group together in the weakest areas of the skin.  They are classified as xanthelasma when they group together in the eyelid area and xanthomas when found in other areas.  They are causes usually by lipid protein irregularities.  High cholesterol can cause these irregularities, so if you have noticed that you have xanthelasma forming, book an appointment with your doctor to get blood test done to make sure the xanthelasma is not a secondary condition of a more concerning health issue.

When it comes to removing them, you need professional treatment.  The two proven options are surgical intervention and Xanthel ® which is a dedicated xanthelasma removal cream, designed to remove them with just one application.

One of the most common causes of xanthelasma is a bad diet.  Eating such things as eggs and regular fry-ups are all high in cholesterol one of the main know causes of xanthelasma.  On a more medical basis the xanthelasma is created from a lipid protein disorder, bad LDL cholesterols are a common cause of these issues.

Xanthelasma Under eyes is a form of xanthoma which is benign skin condition.  When the xanthoma cells appear in the eyelid area they are classified as xanthelasma Palpebrarum.  This skin condition is formed either via high cholesterol, cholesterol anomalies and also it can be inherited.  If your older family members suffer from xanthelasma, but lead a healthy lifestyle, you can still suffer from xanthelasma and have completely normal cholesterol levels.

Xanthelasma removal is when the xanthelasma have been removed and they do not grow back.  There are a lot of possible treatments for xanthelasma, but they are just that a treatment, where the xanthelasma possibly subside but then grow back.  Successful removal of xanthelasma involves treating the xanthelasma so they do not return.  The two proven techniques for this are Xanthel ® and surgery, although surgery is very expensive when compared the very affordable other option, Xanthel ®

What xanthelasma feels like all depends on the age of the plaque and the reason it is forming.  Initially they feel foamy and soft and malleable to the touch, where as the older they become and also the denser they become, they can feel more harder to the touch.  There is no pain associated with xanthelasma as there is no nerves within the plaques themselves.  Irritation can occur if the xanthelasma has engorged the skin to the point where they expand a crease in the eyelid and the xanthelasma is rubbing on itself with the mechanism of the eyelid.

One of the most common reasons for xanthelasma appearing is high cholesterol.  Although they can appear for other issues, such as diabetes and heart disease.  As they are from anomalies with the lipid protein levels within the body, pregnancy can develop them due to the fluctuation of the hormones with the mother’s body.  Some people can have xanthelasma appear for no reason at all, with them having perfect cholesterol levels and no underlying problems.

Yes, xanthelasma will spread, especially if you have not identified why you’re suffering from xanthelasma.  As an example, if your xanthelasma is being caused by high cholesterol and a bad diet, continuing in this direction will mean the xanthelasma will keep spreading.  The bigger they get the faster they will expand in size, with some people leaving it to the point where the xanthelasma are starting to affect their eyelid’s and their vision.

Intervention before they get to this stage is the best course of action.  Use Xanthel ® to help remove them and stop them from coming back and adjust your eating habits to not only benefit your health but also your overall wellbeing.

Xanthelasma especially in its early stages is very easy to misdiagnose as a plethora of other skin conditions.  Syringoma is a common mis-diagnosis for xanthelasma or milia.  When the xanthelasma start to get over 3-5 mm in shape they will start to take on board their characteristics that are regularly associate with a visual diagnosis of xanthelasma.

A dermatologist or doctor may remove them via surgical intervention and if they are very large and the surgery will involve reconstruction of the eyelid structure after they are removed, a plastic surgeon may be involved if there is the need for skin transplants to rebuild the structure.
Also, they can be removed if they have not got to the stage where surgical intervention is needed, with the help of the dedicated xanthelasma removal cream named Xanthel ®.  This was developed specifically to help in the removal of xanthelasma plaques.  You only need to apply it once and the xanthelasma will shrivel and your skin will return back to its natural state.  The best part is it will also stop the xanthelasma from returning.

You can treat xanthelasma plaques yourself at home.  The use of a professional dedicated treatment called Xanthel ® will help you remove the xanthelasma plaques with just one, easy application.  Once treated the xanthelasma over the coming days will shrivel away and return he skin back to its normal state before the xanthelasma manifestations appeared.  It is also formulated to stop the regrowth of the xanthelasma, stopping the xanthelasma from re-appearing being why this treatment has gained so much popularity over the last couple of years.

The best professional option for getting xanthelasma treated are either Xanthel ® or via surgery.  The xanthelasma cream can be used by yourself in the comfort of your own home and is very easy to use, only needing one treatment to remove the xanthelasma plaques.  Surgery on the other hand involves a lot more expenses and downtime due to the more invasive nature of the xanthelasma treatment.

Xanthelasma can be and indicator of other more serious health concerns.  Xanthelasma can be present as a secondary condition, arising from diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and also genetics.  Some people can have xanthelasma appear for no reason at all and when checked for any possible major health concerns find that the xanthelasma has appeared for no reason at all. Upon noticing xanthelasma, make sure you get a check up with a doctor, just to make sure that the xanthelasma is not an indicator of a more pressing health issue.

One of the most common reasons for the proliferation of not only xanthelasma but also xanthoma conditions on the the whole is a result of our modern over processed diet.  A lot of modern food is either over processed or modified to enhance the tastes and quality lost in the initial processing stages.  When it comes to fast food this is especially so.  The over use of certain oils and saturated fats and the likes, makes for a very unhealthy diet, which can in turn form xanthelasma.

Xanthelasma occurs from irregularities in your lipid profile.  It can be from a health aspect, for some people they suffer from xanthelasma due to it being in their DNA and for other people stress can be an underlying factor and also pregnancy. In pregnancy the xanthelasma will usually appear in the late stages of the pregnancy due to fluctuation in the hormones and levels within the mother’s body.

Xanthelasma will not disappear by itself.  You can slow or stop the expansion of xanthelasma with the use of prescribed medicines such as Statins, aimed at controlling your cholesterol levels.  High cholesterol levels are a very common factor in client who suffer from xanthelasma plaques.  To make them disappear and have them not return again, then two proven techniques work.  Xanthel ® a specifically designed xanthelasma cream or the more expensive option of surgery.  Both will remove the xanthelasma for good, surgery will though leave a scar after they have been treated.

Yes, you can get rid of xanthelasma, with the best two techniques with the most proven success rates being either Surgery or Xanthel ® xanthelasma cream.  Surgery is a lot more invasive and is best regarded as an option when there is a need for removal of much larger xanthelasma plaques.  If the plaques are too large then surgical intervention may be need by a plastic surgeon to restore the eyelid structure to its original state.

Xanthelasma will come back if they have treated with a technique which is not aimed solely at removing xanthelasma.  Whilst surgery and Xanthel ® are effective at helping with complete removal of xanthelasma Palpebrarum and stopping it from returning, some suggested treatments such as laser and cryotherapy, or even industrial acids such as TCA, have a track record of the xanthelasma plaques coming back.  Each time an in-effective treatment is used on xanthelasma and they come back, the plaques are always more sporadic and larger in nature.

Xanthelasma can not be removed with garlic but can be a good weapon in controlling the expansion rate of the xanthelasma plaques.  Garlic has a lot of know benefit in reducing cholesterol levels when taken as a supplement tablet.  As high cholesterol is a common factor in the appearance and expansion of xanthelasma plaques, the lowering of the cholesterol levels with garlic, will overtime slow down the expansion of the xanthelasma and also hopefully will stop it completely from spreading any further.

To remove the xanthelasma you need a professional technique, such as Xanthel ® xanthelasma cream or surgery.  Both of these options will remove the xanthelasma and stop them from coming back.

Xanthelasma can be hereditary and its is known as familial cholesterolemia.  This is when the xanthelasma formation is in your genetics and being honest there is not a lot you can do to offset the formation of xanthelasma at some stage in your life.  If you notice that other family members suffer from xanthelasma plaque, then there is a high chance that you will suffer from xanthelasma yourself in the future.

As xanthelasma is not a danger to your health, then most insurance companies will not cover the removal of the xanthelasma as they are seen as cosmetic concern only.  While you may feel that they are a concern and you want them removed, insurance companies are willing to let them get to extreme proportions before they will be concerned about being involved in removing them.  To avoid not only the surgical aspect of insurance intervening in xanthelasma removal, but also the excesses that you will need to pay, just use the affordable Xanthel ® which is a dedicated treatment cream for xanthelasma.

Xanthelasma only become itchy if the start to rub on the tops of your eyelids or are aggravated by something.  A good example is when the xanthelasma plaques are straddling a crease in the eyelid structure and are bulging into each other.  The movement of the eyelid will keep aggravating the surface of the plaques, thus inducing s small sensation, making them feel itchy.  One good thing is that no pain should ever be associated with xanthelasma plaques.
